Kids attending Community Bible Church experience a Gospel-centered journey through The Gospel Project curriculum on Sunday mornings. This curriculum is age specific and designed for their different levels of understanding. On Wednesday nights kids are introduced to memorizing Bible verses, learning truths from Scripture, and discipleship. We are always looking for volunteers who are passionate about training up the next generation to know and love Jesus. Ways to serve in our Kids Ministry include serving as a small group leader, working the check-in area, helping with administrative tasks, and being a helper.

The Youth Ministry at Community Bible Church aims to help young people develop a deeper relationship with God and learn how to live out their faith in their daily lives. Opportunities are also provided for youth to serve their community and make a positive impact on the world around them. Ways to serve and participate in youth include being a small group leader or middle school / high school Bible study teacher.

The Connection Team helps to ensure that everyone is greeted and cared for on Sunday mornings. Ways to serve on the Connection Team include greeting, ushering, providing hospitality, and directing guests while answering any questions they may have.

The Hospitality Team at Community Bible Church works hard to serve guests on Sunday mornings and special events by preparing beverages, serving guests, and partnering with the Connections Team.

The focus of the Worship Team at Community Bible Church is to glorify and honor God by leading the church in worshipping the Lord in Spirit and Truth through worship songs and hymns.

The Tech Team helps to support our Sunday morning worship services with sound, video, and lighting. Some of the key areas to help serve include FOH audio, livestream switcher, and lighting tech.

The Safety Team at Community Bible Church helps to encourage a safe environment, proactively prevent incidents, and manage emergency responses for everyone on campus. The team is always looking for individuals to help serve through providing security, helping with medical responses, and creating safe environments.

The Missions Team at Community Bible Church helps to identify places and ways to serve and support local and global missions. Ways to serve on the Missions Team include helping coordinate service and mission opportunities both locally and globally, praying for missions and ministries, or by being an advocate for foreign missionaries and ministries.

The Prayer and Care Ministry at Community Bible Church provides the church family with ongoing support through various avenues such as the meal ministry, visitation, and prayer. Ways to serve on this team include joining the prayer chain and helping intercede for the needs of the church or coming alongside those in need with compassion and practical support.

Community Bible Church’s homeless ministry focuses on receiving donations and helping prepare hygiene kits for the homeless. The hygiene kits include water bottles, protein bars, toiletries, etc. Ways to serve within this ministry include praying for individuals, giving donations, and packing hygiene kits.   

Reaching Our Neighbors is a monthly event in which volunteers go door to door in local communities to share the love of Christ through prayer, conversation, and service. This event takes place the second Saturday of each month from 10am to 12pm. New volunteers are always welcome.

The Prison Ministry Team helps to bring the Gospel of Jesus to Hernando County’s correctional facilities through discipleship, teaching, and delivering Bibles. The Prison Ministry Team is always looking for individuals who want to invest in others who are in need of the Gospel.
